Shirting Fabric
What is shirting fabric?
Shirting fabric is a woven cloth — typically 120–160 GSM — made specifically for tailoring shirts. It is woven rather than knitted for structure, a crisp finish and durability, and comes in constructions such as poplin, twill, satin, oxford and dobby. For the full picture, see our guides on shirting weaves and types of shirting fabric.
